And it's only taken me 14 months to do so, a record for this aspie.
I've lurked on here since my initial joining, i've clogged up the boards on other bike forums im on, no doubt making a complete pain in the ass of myself, but i have finally arrived at the bike I firmly believe is the bike for me. Capable of all scenarios, and if not I'll damned well make it work.
My long drawn out humming and hawing choice - The Focus Jam 6.8 nine.

If anyone has one, I'd love to hear of your experience of it.
It has a level of kit I'd be happy owning, I think its a capable bike, frame and shocks and drivetrain look good(SLX/XT mix). A few reservations about the stock choice of wheelset, but I'm sure they will suffice until I can get my local wheelbuilder to do me a set of pro 4's.
I'll be swapping out the brakes from the stock Shimano BR-MT520, which im sure are fine, but to a pair of new Hope tech 3 E4's I've been saving for just such an occasion. I've a big Hope fan, have been for 20+ years.

Now I just have to buy it. Just contacted my shop of choice and will get back to them to make whatever final arrangements they require to order and get it in.
