I had my first summer day today (this year). Went out on the bike for a 42 miler with a friend. I had to keep the pace down because he only had a Marin with a Bafang BBSHD, but that was enough to get a really nice cool breeze while riding. I think the forecast is the same tomorrow. I'd like to go out again, but I have to stick a new motor in one of those blasted Kalkhoffs for some guy that would also like to go out for a nice ride in the sun. Oh well, at least I might get another star towards my report when St Peter checks it to see if he'll stamp my ticket to get me through the pearly gates and eternal sunny bike rides.

No much chance of me getting out during the whole weekend, busy with the bees (a.m) and working Friday to Sunday (p.m) inc and again today busy with the bees again, problem with the bees is it's something I can't put off as need to prep them for Autumn/Winter while the weather is good.
Batteries on charge now for a ride out to the S/downs tomorrow and hopefully another ride out on Wednesday if the weather holds.

All the talk of good cycling weather can I ask any Northern Ireland e-bikers what they are currently doing as regards using their bikes in the light of the lack of clarification over legality please?
