In short, no, and I'm not alone in that opinion, A to B say the same.
As a gimmick it uses an SCiB battery, a type expressly designed for cars enabling very rapid charging. The downside is that the capacity is very low for it's size and weight, so to compensate for that and enable a usable range, the motor maximum power is set very low.
E-bikes need the opposite type of battery, high capacity and low weight for good power and long range, at the cost of slower charging.

Yes, that's the answer, this model was launched at £1100, but it obviously hasn't been selling, hence offloading the stock.
