Had a Falco HS250 fitted to my Spesh Hardrock for 7 months, from Team Hybrid. Supplied at reduced price as there were 'issues' with wireless control module and display unit. Mine had a wired assist selector that had 5 assist levels and regen, but always in de-restricted mode.
On the flat it was very fast, but as has been mentioned on this forum, direct drive is not at its best when climbing, quite honestly after a sharpish hill in the Chilterns, it felt as if it needed as much of a rest as I did! I think I read somewhere that there was going to be an upgrade to the firmware which would counteract this, I believe it was to decrease the sensitivity of the heat sensor improve the battery usage.
Which brings me to the last issue, as I couldn't turn off the de-restricted mode it was incredibly hungry, a 25 miles along flat canal paths was its limit, always had to take a spare battery with me.
It may well be fine for short, fast, rides on the flat, but just not what I wanted.
To be fair, Mark, at Team Hybrid gave me a full refund, which I put towards my oft mentioned KTM eRace P.
It may well be they have sorted the wireless console, battery economy and hill climbing, but some things to check out, before purchase.
