I only use genuine Canon batteries, seems totally stupid to buy generic Chinese batteries for such expensive cameras! Risking "Blowing up" your camera for the sake of a couple tenners is utterly daft.

It's also dumb to buy cheap Chinese crap to power your expensive camera with! I bought this recently for less than a tenner, to test lights etc... but there's no way I'd attach it to anything expensive, because according to my multimeter it's voltage fluctuates:
