Hi. I have recently taken the plunge and bought myself an electric bike for commuting to work. This has made me realise the benefits of an ebike.
In my day job, I work for the Police and I use a traditional bike for most of my shift, every day more or less. This includes riding for approximately 6-8hrs per day. It is a combination of city centre and residential areas, and we roughly clock up between 10-20 miles. This is a bit of guesswork.
Anyway, I'm looking into getting an electric bike for work that I can showcase to my employer - and show the benefits of it in the field. Ideally, it would have to be free. At this point, I just wanted to put it out there and see if any of the bike manufacturers and distributors would be interested in this sort of thing? I would be more than happy to email you from work and discuss it further to show that I am genuine.
Its just a bit of an idea and I'm just throwing it out there. Once I have something to go with, I can discuss it with the bosses before it can go ahead - as I would need their permission/blessing. If you need more information and wish to discuss anything, please feel free to email me. Thank you.
