September 15, 201114 yr I've recently bought my first electric bike at an astonishing £2700 and am looking to insure it. I have tried cycleguard and one other and both come out at £315-£330. Is this realistic? I feel at this price I might as well not insure it at all and hope that no-one steals it over the next few years...........

September 18, 201114 yr Kryptonite propose up to £2500 money back if your bike get stolen with their lock: Kryptonite Now I don't know if it's a scam or not, because I haven't heard of anyone being refunded after their bike have been stolen. Main reason: The paperwork. A. Registration: You have to register your bike to Kryptonite within 15 days after purchase, provide the original receipt (dated and signed by the seller) of the bike and the lock, proof of the bike registration B. When stolen: You have to report to the police, provide them the broken lock and take picture of the "crime scene". Then after you have the send the police confirmation, the broken lock and picture to Kryptonite. And then, they determine if you qualify for the refund... No one succeeded yet to complete all these task... But may worth a try.
