It is an escooter motor , likely it may be for a speed sensor.
They have fuses so locate the inline fuse to th battery first.

It's a sensorless motor! It needs a sensorless controller to work it. That device is either used for speed or temperature. I'm going to go for temperature unless there's a device to indicate speed on an LCD.

One needs to do some more homework.
Only one Hall sensor is needed for speed calculation, though a motor may use more then one magnet to sense the speed.
Three Hall sensors are used for sensored motors but your as indicated is a non sensored motor.
