The £5 bell I bought from Halfords around the time I bought my bike in the Spring of 2015 had the temerity to break the other day.
I returned to Halfords in Guildford where I had bought the first bell to buy a new one. The stock levels seemed quite depleted, perhaps due to the general supply issues, or maybe to save money and I thought I might be out of luck.
Then I spied a bell very like the one I had bought from them originally. The price. £4.99.
Wow, no change in price at all, if only all the food in my supermarket was the same, or indeed the cost of my gas and electricity.
Incidentally riding my bike without a bell for a few days has been a nightmare.
