Hi

Having failed to find a 10.4ah bottle battery with Samsung cells in the uk (kudos were expecting some in July shipment but didn't turn up) I am def going lipo.

I don't want to give up having battery in frame and intend to go 4 x 22.2v 5ah bricks. Hobbyking sells simple harnesses too

Where do you find your frame bags please lipo users ? I can't find anything - All the ones I found are small tool kit type triangle bags

Thanks
Kirstin

thanks D8veh - thats helpful. There are now on mark 2 at 78USD so about £53 so a wee bit more expensive

However they are MASSIVE - take up entire triangle which does seem an overkill for 4 lipo bricks which are 15cm x 5cm x 5cm

Still is def a backup option

perhaps I need to contruct my own......

Extra room for a 24fet controller, a couple of pasties and a Yorkie bar :D

Try here.

Welcome To BikeBag.co.uk

Will pretty much make any bag to your specification (including materials, size any custom features you want) and prices for custom made are cheaper than a lot of off the shelf bags.

Dont have any of there bike bags but me and my friends have had many items from their other business (Welcome to BuggyBags.co.uk) and never had reason to be more than happy with finished item.

Going back to the FalconEv diamond bag. I know it's a lot bigger than you need, but you could fit in a foam insert to the exact shape of the triangle. Then cut out individual slots for each Lipo.
I've used 3" thick chair foam in mine. This way they would be highly protected from any road shock.
The bags really are top quality and still good value, even at the new price!

I have just emailed them to order one of these bags. Seems a great option to keep it neat and be able to remove it when leaving the bike locked up in the street
