Impulse Ergo i360 NuVinci Harmony

Anyone got one of these or any subjective thoughts on it compared to a pro connect from kalkhoff.

Very similar bikes apart from the gears. I've only had a quick go on a bike with the Nuvinci Harmony gears so can't offer much first-hand experience - however, I've only heard good things about the system. The Impulse Ergo currently available doesn't have the 2014 upgrades to the motor / battery capacity that are on the Pro Connect. You might also consider the Sahel i360 NuVinci Harmony which is currently on special offer and has the same gear system (minus the heart monitor) that is on the Ergo.
