Anyone here had recent experience buying from S Korea? I'm just wondering what to expect if I place an order for approx £200 (inc pp) worth of kit - hubs & gears.

I cannot figure out the customs & duty maze - baffles me how Ive never been charged for goods from China.

South Korea and the EU have an FTA, there is no import duty on most electronics, motors and bikes.
You only pay VAT.

I didn't get charged on the first Boss welder I purchased, but when it failed and I sent it back, I got charged on the replacement :(

The replacement spent ages in customs and I guess they open some stuff up to check ?

I usually find I get charged on anything over £50, again I guess it depends on what they put on the package value wise. Of course if they mark things down, then I am not sure where you/they would stand on any postal insurance claim.
