I eventually got my Impact Compact Display unit and have had it fitted by a reputable Kalkhoff engineer. Everything is working fine except the battery condition gauge which is invisible on the screen . When toggling between the various modes it does appear for a brief second before turning off. Any thoughts on how to make the battery display permanent. I have gentle cleaned all terminals. Toggled through the different screens..all with no success. The Kalkoff
Any ideas ....

Did you put a fresh battery in the display?

Thank you for reply. It's the original battery fitted. The red lights on the battery indicate its present capacity. These values do not appear on the display (in the form if a vertical block graph)

Thank you....what procedure places the fresh battery in the display?
I'm probably wrong because it's been a long time since I messed with Impulse stuff, but I had it at the back of my mind that the LCD had it's own button cell for backup of some sort. I just did a Google search, but can't find anything on it.

Many thanks...
I wonder if there is a pressing of a combination of buttons that enables the battery display?
