Hi. I have an all-in-one hub and battery conversion front wheel on my beach cruiser. I want to hack it for more power and range. I replaced the thumb throttle with a twist throttle and that worked fine and boosted my confidence on the battery hack. But after getting a new battery and wiring it up, I did not get any power to the motor. The LED and bluetooth enabled app shows the new voltage but no power when I pushed the throttle. Would you tell me what I'm doing wrong or what additional steps are required?

Here are the specs on the iMortor 1.0 -- Motor: 30V 240W; Battery: 36V 115.2Wh lithium-ion battery https://www.imortor.org/product/imortor-26-inch-smart-electric-front-bicycle-wheel/

1. twist throttle upgrade: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09VYPY8F8?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details.

2. new battery: 48V 10Ah. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09GF287D1?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Thank you

You may have "over cooked" it with the battery voltage increase, or possibly some safety feature has cut in, because of that voltage increase.
Put the original battery back and see if it works again.
Some controllers have voltage settings as well, though I have no idea if yours does.
best of luck

Yes it still works with the original battery. After further searches and reading, the controller does have a voltage limit at 48.

Glad I could help, but remember, huge increases in supply voltage can also cause permanent damage in some equipment.....
You were very lucky in my view.

Yes glad I didn’t burn it. Though someone broke down the motor and mentioned it could handle up to 66V.

The motor might, but that doesn't always set the upper limit. It's the controller feeding the motor supply that does that.
