I'm not new to the forum, but it's time to introduce myself

I seem to have disturbed a wasps nest with my last 2 posts to the Electric Bicycles forum:

One is a totally non-technical, somewhat tongue-in-cheek description of an abortive ride attemting to collect some benchmark data, from which to compare 3 rather different ebikes:

'Tother is a request for clarification of a technical term which is often used with reference to ebikes, but my understanding of which was lacking.

The former drew comment that infers ebiking is to be enjoyed, not analysed & the latter, that technical question & answer is not what the Electric Bicycles forum is for.

Fair comment on both counts, so any future posts from myself will go to the Technical forum & I trust only those with a wish to advance my ebiking knowledge will respond.

Don't feel impeded from posting as you wish in this forum, as I made clear I wasn't criticising, just explaining why some are unhappy. I was using the same free speech that you are just as entitled to.

In any case you will be unable to post a thread in the technical section since it seems entries to that can only be via moderation after first posting here!
