It isn't my remark. It is Trumps remark about the rest of the world and his one time allies.

I don't quite know what you are saying there in the post above, and I don't think you understood what I was saying either . When I got up at six this morning, and turned on the radio, Trump's speech was being covered and that is what he said. I asked here what people thought of it, but in the format we often saw in essay questions when I was a student. It invites comment. That's all.

By the way - just for the record, I think you have Tanuki wrong as well. He was never contemptuous at all. He loved everybody and every anmal that came to the house. Nipper wasn't the only dog he groomed, he'd groom them all if they wanted him to.

This is Tanuki with my girl friend's dog Alfie. Nipper was the same breed but his grooming session is the one further up the page.
