Be kind to me. I've tried to find out from FAQs but it's beyond me! How exactly do I check the health of my battery? I've bought a Draper multimeter (AMM1) but I'm a little reluctant to stick its metal probes into the any of the four small slots in the base of the battery! (Cowardly visions of smoke, bangs and blue flashes!) If indeed this is the normal procedure then a) what do I set the meter to & b) which of the little slots (two - and two +) do I prod?
