I love the idea of bikes causing pollution. The Lord in question does have some higher education, or not?
He has gone bit crackpot since the days of being a cabinet minister, but there's always been an element of the odd about him. Named Nigel Lason, he had his daughter christened Nigella Lawson, how self centred is that?

I don't think we need worry about anyone taking him seriously any more though. Also we have a onetime e-bike lobbyist in the House of Lords, Lord Laird, and a number of Commons and Lords members are regular London cycling members of the All-Parties Cycling Group.
