I have received lots of help on this forum and had decided on a kit from a well known company. However having waited till June trying to actually buy the kit still seemed problematic with stock problems and promises of calls back/e mails that never materialised I decided to just go and buy a new bike.

The 2 models I was most interested in are the Kalkhoff Pro connect 9 and the Oxygen E mate city.
I like the Kalkhoff crank drive but had a few concerns about the 32 spoke wheels and the 11Ah battery being large enough to carry my 100kg for 40 miles.I was very impressed with the bike and if it had'nt been for the Oxygen offer i would still be dithering

I intended trying the Oxygen this week which for me means a round trip of about 400 miles. I like the build on the Oxygen, the 12g spokes, the Avid brakes and most of all the 15.5 Ah battery which i am sure will give me a great range. With the offer of 250 pound off the list price and not to mention my trip cost of over a hundred pounds i decided what the hell i would break the golden rule of trying before you buy and order one. Time will tell whether it works out or not.

Anyway the reason for posting was to tell the folk on the forum that Oxygen have a June offer with 250 pound off the E mate city and possibly more off the MTB models.
