Hi has anyone tried this on here ?

Personally I have had no issues with IE.9 , i know it was largely introduced for Windows 8 and touchscreens but have just read that it is now compatible with Windows 7 and offers
"improved features" .......... !!!!!???

Yet another reply to ........me !!!!!!!

Downloaded 10 and its very user friendly ,remembering previous log-ins from 9 ,includes an auto spell checker AND is quicker .

So all in all a good upgrade , well done Alan and for all of the advice that you gave me ????

Alan

btw. anyone reading this ........ sorry for me muttering to myself . Also to do the download make sure all of your device software is up to date , make sure you have got Windows 7 SP1 installed ...... none of which I had before I tried the download.

Lynda your Windows 8 and Chrome is more than likely far quicker and possibly better? than my ancient Windows7 with Internet Explorer . Same as you as long as something is working i'm usually happy but for once this actually is an improvement .

Importantly those anxious moments when something is installing ...... no fagging !!!!

Then why dont you just change to useing or trying Chrome then Alan ?

I did with W7.....I never really liked IE.......I love chrome, well, maybe thats a bit strong.....I like it, its friendly and easy....not that I understand why it is....but it is lol

I am liking windows 8 apart from its annoying habit of easily swiping you off a page if you are not careful, but overall I like the swiping touchpad and I am pleased I didnt fork out for the swiping or rather touchscreen screen, its far easier swiping the touch pad, but then I have never been a mouse fan Ive always used the touchpad, it just comes natural now, well, it would after 12 years I suppose lol

No fagging for me, Im back on the straight and narrow but infinitely more exciting and healthy vapetrail ;)

Lynda :)

Now now ........ it took me hours to pluck up the courage to update Explorer , to go to Chrome would cause much angst ......... months maybe.
