That's surprisingly interesting, a 290k miles tesla needing a £17k battery. Paradoxically I thought quite a vote of confidence in tesla - how many production cars are capable of 290k miles (with an interior looking like that)? If the traction battery came with an oem warranty, 17k would be a relative bargain.
