It looks like Torq is a name not exclusive to electric bikes. Down the page there is a mention of "wattage" but it refers to a special hub linked to a computer to measure what the rider himself produces. There is also quite a bit about energy but it is the kind you have to consume by mouth rather than by throttle or pedelec.

About 15 years ago I did some work for someone who bought a chain of costume jewellery shops called 'Torq the Jewellers'. I don't think they're still around...

I didn't know the website Rooel, but I've seen these in local bike shops and been somewhat amused by the claims. A Kit-Kat bar or banana would probably by just as good, and at a tiny fraction of the shocking prices of these products.
