As with many posts my Halfrauds vulcan as been pretty useless for the last 18 months ,waiting spares ,display holder 2 x sensor ,crank arm/sensor,,,battery case button now failed all under warranty but getting nowhere, like the goverment they blame it on COVID19!! yep over 1 year just for the crank ,,,

does anyone know if there are hubs available that will run with the hsec system.

i would like to sue them for the cost of repayments for the 18 months of down time, but i don't suppose i will.
but if i located second hand bits my self

i feel the hub is next to fail and they are hard to find or repair
any ideas? thx

As anon has done keep the hub and replace all the electrics with KT controller and lcd3. PM him or look for his conversion using the search facility.

HESC uses a different hub wire connector so another hub make won't be compatible.

The motors are very good and very reliable. that's the last thing you should change. Instead, you need to get rid of the crappy motor connector (solder the wires directly) and the unreliable torque sensor arrangement. To lose the torque sensor, you need a new controller, LCD, motor cable, and pedal sensor - cost about £80.
