Hi All. My p.a.s has 12 magnets and is set to 12 on M5 display, the other two are 8 and 5 which have no effect. The sensor is 1 to 2mm away from the bottom bracket. I have to do 3 full crank turns before p.a.s kicks in. Does anybody know of how to reduce the turns so that i get p.a.s quicker.
Thanks.

Does the sensor have a little light on ? If you turn the display on , level 0, then turn the pedal (will need to lift back wheel up) does the light come on as each magnet passes the sensor

If you can't improve the rotation timing , then think about retrofitting a KT system. PAS with my 10 pole count kicks in within an 1/8th turn.

Three rotations to engage PAS is terrible, the lag is down to the software logorythm's which can'e changed. Some controllers are just crappy.
