How to Re-Programme King-Meter KM529?

Can anyone tell me how to access the advanced settings for this thing please?

I tried pressing all three buttons and got pr followed by four digits.

It's same as with your old JLCD, press and hold both the + and - buttons for 3 seconds.

That means you've got a password in it. You can Google known passwords, then start at 1900 and work your way to 2024, then use your best intelligence and hacking skills to invent then try possible passwords.

I can't, I'm afraid.

It looks like I might have to consider other options, such as sending the bike back to the dealer, as It's not suitable for me.

If it's a KM529, probably yes, otherwise probably no. If its a different type, make sure that the wires are in the correct sequence before connecting.
