My ebike stop working after I got the error "24" on D13 display with Ananda MC5-B0 controller (36v 250w).

I tested the motor on an other ebike and it perfectly working. The cables connection are good and the controller's Mosfets are good too.

What I found, the input voltage of Hall sensor from the controller is 15v instead of 5v compared to other 36v controllers.

Is it normal? If yes what could be the issue?

I had a similar problem a couple of years ago with my Mark 1 Swytch conversion for which I was supplied under warranty with a replacement controller but possibly more pertinently with a cable which bypassed the Hall sensors (that controller could work without a Hall sensor input), Had no problems since then, so perhaps worth seeing if you can run without the Hall sensors on your ebike?

error 24 is afaik motor hall error, though possible the controller is at fault if the 5v voltage rail is faulty.
One shouldn't be seeing 15v on the 5v rail.

The source for the 5v is the 14v rail. It is possible that the 5v regulator in the controller has blown

HI,
Thank you for your response! unlike my controller, the error 24 pop up immediately when I disconnect the HALL sensors wires.

99% is the controller problem, I just tested the motor on another controller and I got 5v, I've tried this method https://bit.ly/3GoJ2a5 and all the Hall sensor worked perfectly

Yes, 15v is too much, so, what if I reduce the voltage using resistors? Not sure if it would work.

you should not use resistors to drop the voltage, the voltage at the end of a resistor changes with the current.
Use a proper 5V regulator such as typical L7805. It's never too late to learn a bit of basic electronics but I would suggest that you replace the controller if possible.
