No need to apologise Andy. Electronic information is always interesting.

However its not a case of its 'boring' to many of us here - its more a case of we simply don't need to know about 'replacing defective components' such as FETs on our bikes, as we use bikes powered by Bosch, Yamaha, Shimano etc, so we don't seem to have to worry too much about things like that in the same way that many other ebike solutions do.
