Hey.

Received my himo c26 tho other day. The 25kmph limiter is already annoying especially cutting out any time it goes over the 25kmph as I regularly reach that by pedal power alone.

It's a 48v battery with a 250w rear hub motor. What's the best way to get the most out of the motor? Would a new LCD display and controller work to over ride the limiter?

I don't understand people moaning about the 25km/h cut off as this is what the product is designed to do, one knows this before buying so why grizzle. Ride to the cut off then power on with your own input.
I do this with my G370 hub and ride to 18/20mph, yet my cut off I have lowered to 13pmh to benifit more from my input.

Did you inform yourself fully about the way your bike works and how it is actually following the laws of both Europe and the GB?
Do remember that breaking the law may have severe consequences for you at some point. Police in some countries will after any sort of accident involving an e-bike, will take the bike to be tested, test it, and if it breaks the law in any way, may have it crushed or similar....plus a fine for the user/owner.....
German Police have in some of their cars, a sort of test bed, to check the maximum speeds of e-bikes, scooters and mopeds.....They know in seconds if the bike is legal or not!
What if that happens in the UK as well and you have modified your e-bikein some way that breaks the law.
Or why not simply buy an e-bike that is faster (legally) and tax, insure and get it MOTed, it as either a moped or motorbike? Nobody can take that away from you then!!
regards
Andy

Can do it in settings by pressing the mode button. Password is 1919. Can also do it by setting 16" wheel size in case password is changed.
