I have a Carrera, that has a battery that won't charge. My charger is a shoe that fits to the bottom of the battery case.
I split the battery case, the cells had two groups of very low voltage.
The man at Halfords said a battery was £500 which seams expensive.
So I have just ordered a nice one, half the price on eBay. A family member has used a similar one for a couple of years on another bike and it has been very good. It comes with its own charger.
Anyway, I though I would tell you what I have been up to, and how it goes.
The actual Halfords bike is not bad, ok brakes, nice wheels, ok frame and fittings.
