Hi!

Thank you for allowing me in to the forum. I currently ride a mtb to get around and bit of trail stuff. Have had ic motorcycles in the past but currently do trips to work etc by ic car. Next one will be full electric but need an interim solution. Was looking at a self build ic to electric motorcycle conversion (costly and complicated) and then a sur ron to do runs to the shops etc but got to thinking can only use on the road and of course also expensive. So here I am. Looking for advice on a suitable ebike or ebike conversion. In general terms a set up for off road use (so no limit on power/throttle etc) with lots of range without peddling and a good top speed to make it a viable alternative to taking the car but still looks like an electric mtb and not an electric motorcycle...

Thanks!

Even with off road the power/speed limits still technically apply in public areas (such as bridleways). They only don't apply on private land with no access to the public, and with the landowner's consent.

My advice would be to stay legal:)
