I guess i'm your latest member. I've been reading your posts as a visitor for about a year, and found it very informative. At last ive got my Cyclamatic Power plus delivered from sportshq, and was lucky enough to get it just before the latest price increase. Fast delivery, easy assembly.
I must say its a very good looking bike, and well made. I've been out on it every day since i got it. The handlebars were too low, but i fitted some hi rise bmx ones, which gave me an extra 6" bar rise , any higher would have entailed fitting longer cables. its much more comfortable to ride now. Also i fitted a ventura alloy rear rack, which suits the bike, in looks and size. Also fitted a handlebar bag for my cable combination lock, and replaced the supplied black plastic water bottle with a 0.35l stainless steel thermos flask, which is a perfect fit in the water bottle holder. Also changed the saddle for a big sprung one.
Its true the tyres need to be 65psi, but that does make it more bumpy to ride on bad roads. Im getting about 20 miles out of it between battery charges, which is enough for me the way i use it; its never gone flat on me so far. Best regards to all.
