The Halfords one can be fixed locally if anything goes wrong. The Greenedge one has standard Chinese stuff on it, so you can do DIY repairs after the warranty has expired. The Halfords one has a lot of bespoke parts. Nobody has come up with a way of derestricting the Halfords one. The Greenedge is probably restricted by a simple user-accessible setting in the LCD. The Halfords one has hydraulic brakes. The Greenedge has inferior cable disc brakes that cost about £50 to upgrade. Most of the other differences can be seen in the pictures and specifications.

Hi Thanks for the reply, I only commute around 5 miles to work, do you think the greenedges battery will be OK only being 9amp??
