Hi everybody, for a newbie it's a bit of a minefield.

I've been riding to work rather than using the car for several years now last summer had a go on a fellow campsite member S Ebike. I guess it got me hooked.
Have been looking for some time , and am on a budget . What I would like is something what that me and the misses can use at weekends and to take away on our camping trips , have a small motorhome.

So would like Mountain bike that can also fold and is fair for the money.
I seen a lot or bikes but one on the top of my list is the "Samebike LO26 " for me it ticks the boxes and seem a good first Ebike.
My question is this . Is it legal to ride in the UK, it has 350W motor , but is this regulated so it will output power to the legal speed when o roads ect , making ok for our road use.

And two what do you think of them ?

Any help will be much appreciated

Technically not legal; 250w rated is the maximum. Very heavy at 30kg if the Amazon listing is correct; geaerbest say 28.5 which is still pretty hefty.

Thats a shame quite liked that one , seemed a few people on the net have this one
And saw a chap with o e in my town a week or so back with one.
I think k I'll keep looking see what else I can see

Thanks for the help and welcome. After reading a number posts on here I'm getting a more of an idea of what I should be looking for. Need to get two bikes but don't really want to over 1k for each of them. So the hunt is on.
