I have started to ride an ebike on the recommendation of my cardiologist. As I'm not to over do cardio- vascular but need some exercise and to lose some weight. I've brought an assisted MTB which I hope will re -spark the joy of cycling after a 20 year absences.

Welcome to the forum. Similar situation here and it will definitely reignite the spark and I'm sure you'll more than enjoy the experience.
Which eMTB did you decide upon?

Hi
I brought a Eco Expedition and also one for my wife. She is very pleased with hers. I 've had to adjust the sensor on the crank after my bike was assembled by are local bike shop. Very impressed with bike. Comes with disk brakes,21gears,36volt 10ah battery . Realativly light weight 20.5k. Frame is welded alloy. All bike parts are Shimarno. Extras added full length mudguards on my wifes bike, badger stripe perventor short guards on mine. Also fitted powerful lights to each bike. Based ln Plymouth Devon.

Plymouth, lucky you! I used to enjoy cycling up the Plym valley up to Burrator reservoir and into the moor. Lots of really good trails on the western side of Dartmoor.
Do you know what type of motor you have ( I suspect an 8 fun hub motor) and I note from the website for Eco Expedition that the bike is on offer for £750ish. Also I wonder what display/control settings are you able to adjust?
How does the bike perform off road?
