Hey all.

My name is Mehmed.
I was lurking for about a week before to post.
I still don't have pedelec. But thinking to do my own conversion.I have to admit, i have no clue about batterys ,watts , kws or Amp. so i will need some advice.
I am working in private estate, so no public road, it involves around 3 mile tarmac drive from which about 800
yards is 20% step hill. Its ok for me , but some times the bike will be used from my wife and she is not verry fit and not willing to pedal up the hill.
I choose Bafang BBS02 36v/500w and maybe this battery:
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/371206079393?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT

What concerns me is -
Rated Discharge Current (A)
10A
Maximum Continuous Discharge Current (A)
15A
Is this ok for the drive, or i have to look for battery with better BMS?
Or Bafang BBS02 48v/750w wit this battery http://eclipsebikes.com/eclipse-lite-44ah-a123-lifepo4-battery-pack-p-1107.html
Here the concern is about how long the battery will last. I have option for 20 amp , but its will put to much weight on the bike.
Or any ideas for what i can choise?

Thanks in advance.

We need to know exactly which bike you will fit it to.

Welcome Mehmet. Do you have a picture of the bicycle you are going to attach the kit to? Edited- The BBS systems as d8veh says may not fit -

I think you are better off with a L-ion rather than a Lipo-based battery, (Eclipsebikes or Wooshbike are good places to supply, as they provide support if things go wrong), because they're safer, already encased, and so much more friendly to use for non-engineers. I think you'll need the 14.5ah/15ah battery for the 36v because of its (I'm inexpert here) higher couloumb rate, I believe, than 10 or 13ah batteries. Or the 11.6 ah if going for 48v. I don't know if others have a view on the 250v bbs01 - which both eclipsebikes and woosh also sell.

You can't fit a BBS01/2 to some bikes. We need to know what the bike is before we should give any advice.

Thanks all.
Well i did'nt explain clearly, but English is not my first language.
My concerns was about BMS , and how much ampers the motor will draw.
So most of the batterys what i see in the market are maximum 15 amp continius discharge, and peaks between.20-30.
Some even don't show this specs. About the bike, we have 3 bikes, 2 MTB, and 1 folding Mifa, german made in china with Shimano nexus. I will mount it in the folding for beginig. She is not going to ride it much, so will get 10amp with 2 0amp continius discharge and 30 amp peak.
Eclipse is out of stock for the 750 watt vesrion, so i have to wait to order.
Will post the outcome of the conversion.

Thanks again all.
