Not quite everything, the M4 road signs are still only in English, thank goodness!
Did see this sign leaving Wales...
"Sut y meiddiwch adael wales"

I've been testing mine this morning with new forks and headset. Full charged up and went round brum to waste some battery!

This is the skyline over Birmingham.

Only just started though!

It's where I do my test riding. It's outside the apartment.
Get some funny looks when you go out though !

We were down to -20 in my garden last night. We have had snow for a week but it was sunny all day today.

I am not complaining. I love it when it is snowy and sunny. We usually start with snow at the end of October and so it is going to be a very short winter for us.

I live at Boston , Lincolnshire . We are only 3 miles from the sea , and often escape snow . Last night was the exception . I usually do 10 miles a day on my pedal cycle rain or shine . I am hoping to get out and do at least 5 miles today after the snowploughs have been .I have not missed a day in 20 months ,so I will have a go . The Powabyke will stay locked up in the garage , though . The pavements are worst , with about 6 inches of snow . Very difficult for the old people . [At 66 that probably includes me .] At least we do not have hills to contend with . This part of Lincolnshire is so flat that it makes Holland look like the Alps .

It has been a lovely weekend in Denmark. Sunshine all the time and more to come.

It was -23 in my garden last night but had heated up to a balmy -13 for my ride today. Good job I wasn`t fishing because the sea is frozen solid.

Nice ride but this cold just sucks the power from the battery.

People ask what to wear in the cold. The important things I wear are thermals, marino socks, marino lined hat, a nyoprene face mask and an all in one, fleece lined fishing suit. I keep toasty warm.

Nice pics Steve,

I had minus -29C last morning. I managed to start my Laguna Dci diesel with no struggle as I have new battery but most of my neighbors with diesels didn't have that luck. My bike battery running only at 50% capacity due to cold but it's not a problem anyway. You can't ride the bike for more then 10 minutes anyway. After 30 minutes of ebikes in -30 you are very likely to be infertile.

Well it's not often that we have the best of it up here in the North East but we only had a light dusting of snow yesterday and that had melted away by 10 this morning. I am still keeping off the bike though despite being impressed by Steve's sterling efforts at combating the elements.

Had an excellent sprinkling yesterday (nothing like last time though), which started when I was riding back from the shops. It did start melting today, and I had to go to B&Q to buy some paint. As soon as I turned out of my street, and hit the main road I turned off again to take a different route, as I was executing the left turn, rather slowly, I hit a huge patch of compacted snow, and you might guess what happened next...

The bike slid from under me and went straight down on its left side. I was still on my feet though and managed to lift it off the ground and continue straight away. The whole thing lasted not more than 6 seconds!

I did manage to continue the journey, and carried 20 litres of paint on the way back without incident.

Commuting this morning was fine. So long as you stayed on the road. The side bits and pavements are very skippery. I came off one section onto it and was just about stayed on the bike.

No brakes, just rolled to a stop.
Defiently dont have the tires for it. still slow and steady and I got to work.
