My son has had a LCD3 display on a KT controller for 24 hrs. Everything was working great until he tried to change Km/ph to Mph.
All of a sudden the display showed ‘ Sour 3’ and seems to be frozen. Or at least he cannot get it back to any regular setting. All he can get the display to do is change the 3 flashing units. Circled in attached photo. And nothing else . I assume maybe this stand for source 3. The bike is fully charged.
So now he is without his bike, as he cannot throttle. we cannot find or figure out what to do. Any help will be massively appreciated

No idea , very strange.
All I can think is to disconnect the display and reconnect later on.

It's possible that he's somehow put a password in. If he has, it's locked by the password. There's nothing you can do until you put the correct one in of which there are 999 combinations. I think the default one is 000, so if he didn't select anything, try that first.

If that's not it, there's one last thing you might try. Remove the battery from the bike, then short out the + and - pins on the receiver to discharge any capacitors in the controller and LCD. Obviously, that'll cause a bit of a spark, but it's harmless. Short it again just to make sure, then put the battery on again, power up and immediately press the up and down buttons to go to the settings. If it lets you go in, use C10=Y to reset it.

Thank you , he must have accidentally set a password. 599 lol but at least he’s back on the bike.

Much appreciated
