Finding my (electric) wheels

Hi guys, I'm looking for some help or advice please.

I have an ADO A20F, had it from new for 2 and a half years and absolutely love the thing, went to work today on it and all was fine, but setting off to come home and the peddle assist has stoped working, the motor still runs on the throttle so I know it's not a motor or battery problem, I'm not one to mess with electrical stuff so I've called a good few of the local bike shops to see if they can repair it but all of them have refused as they only work on expensive mid drive stuff.

I would appreciate if anyone can suggest a repair shop in the Greater Manchester area that will take a look at it, or if anyone has had the same thing happen with a similar bike and if its an easy fix to do myself?

Thanks in advance.

Most likely the pedal sensor got knocked out of line. Have a look behind the chainwheel to see if there's a black plastic disc with magnets in. If there is, it needs to be an even 1mm from the sensor. Wiggle it into position if it's not like that.

If there isn't a magnet disc, take some photos around the bottom bracket so that we can see what you have got.

Looks like it's internal, it does seem a little loose and if I pull on it it'll come out.
That type only clips in. The main thing us whether the inner part is slipping. You have to take the pedal arm off to see that.

Follow the wire and check that it hasn't been nicked and the connector is in properly. The cable looks a bit vulnerable.

I'll have to buy the tool to take it off as I don't have anything to do it, there's an Halfords near where I work so I'll get one tomorrow and do that.

Will it be obvious if it's slipping and if so what do I do?

The inner partgrips the shaft and has to turn with it. They sometimes get jammed with crud and stat slipping. You can see whether it's turning or not.
