Hi all,

Can anyone identify this rear motor from the following images? I bought it cheap on eBay.

It looks to be three phase, and hall sensor, as it has 3 thick and 5 thin wires coming out. I was told that its '250 watt'.

The body on the non drive side is threaded (can't see why) and it's not disk compatible.

Thanks in advance...

It appears to be an early Bafang hall sensored SWX01 with a band brake and the original Bafang wiring connector.
If you have the mating connector then you can check it out electrically, if not, it can be rewired with a new 9 pin weatherproof connector.

See the pdf file on this page and you can compare dimensions:

There is provision for a band brake to be fitted to the non drive motor side plate on this motor, your second photo, I assume the seller of the motor was using rim brakes.
