Hi,

I recently purchased a 2nd hand BH Neo Jumper 650b from a friend of mine. It's the 2015 model and I like the bike a lot. Fantastic bike.

However, when I look at the reviews etc for the bike on youtube etc, most are mentioning the bike has a throttle as well as assist.

Mine doesn't have a throttle and it's something I wouldnt' mind adding If I can.

Does anyone know what throttle would work with this bike ?, I've emailed BH directly but they haven't responded to me.

Thanks a lot

Allan

Have a look at the controller to see if it has the connector, otherwise you can replace the whole control sytem for about £60 quid, which will release the speed limit too.

Oh that's interesting, I never thought about releasing the speed limit at the same time.
Which control system would I need ?, would it still fit in the frame like the standard one ?
Many thanks for your reply

Take out your controller and measure it to find out what space you have to play with. The S06S from BMS battery will work, but I'm not sure if it has less power, because nobody has confirmed what current your bike runs at. You should be able to tweak the S06S up to about 18 amps, which is probably enough. You'll need a new LCD and pedal sensor as well as the throttle. Have a look at how the wires thread through to the controller because you'll need to bring your new LCD and throttle through to the controller.

If you can show detailed pictures of the connections to your controller, I can give more detailed advice.

My Neo cross has a 20 amp controller.and I tried with an s09p controller It worked great at low speed. But I couldnt get more than 18-19 kmh with a 48 volt battery.Torque was fantastic. So the controller did not work like it should with the Dapu motor. The motor is buildt like a mac motor I belive, but maybe the S06s will work but it is already weaker than the orginal controller

Other people found similar results with other motors. What display did you use? You need the LED display for it to work properly now. Also, I think there's something you have to do with the 3-speed switch, which you can't leave disconnected like you could before. If you want high speed, you have to switch it to the high speed mode. These are both changes since the previous versions.

I have bought a us controller for my bh jumper 2013 in hope of higher top speed. It did not work but it gave me a side effect. Foot throttle. If i pedel hard and put the bike in off mode it goes by itself. I am pretty sure if I bought a throttle from a us dealer it would work.
Throttle is not allowed in eu mailand but in US.

There has been tried many attempts to get higher top speed on BH bikes.
The only things that has worked so far is booster battery og putting a ;48v battery on the 2013 and 14 models.
