Help - real advice needed

Hi all,

Hope you can help, 64 year old with lung condition weigh 83kg looking to buy an ebike. I really don’t want to use the advice of star ratings and would rather ask those that already use ebikes.

My use would mainly be off road, however not mountain bike, more trail bike. Ideally I would like distance over speed - ideally as far as possible. I would be able to pedal - but currently up hill would be a struggle.

Ideally I would like to pay £750 but can stretch to £1200. Any advice really welcome

Hi height and fitness levels have a lot to do with choice of type. Also elevations on your typical route, or expected routes. Distance should be achievable with larger capacity batteries now widely available.
