That's the trouble with cheap skate manufacturers! I rent my bike, so obliged not to mod too much, so stuck with straight steerer and little choice even secondhand. There were plenty of decent options for tapered forks.

If you're ever stuck, ive a 26" RS revelation 150mm RLT 15x100. I've am RS lockout lever and both stealth and QR axles to go with it. Its in VGC.

I'm 700c! Even less choice! But thanks for the offer.

I stick with the bike because we have 33,000km of history together! Never thought in July 2021 I'd have done that. When the riding becomes more important than the journey, I'll move on.
