Hello - hope someone can give me advice as I'm not technical at all !

I have a heart condition so regular cycling is an out for me but I have a Pendleton Sommersby e bike and as luck would have it the battery has just gone and also Halfords is if course now closed !

I've noticed I can buy new batteries on Amazn which say they are compatible with my bike but I don't know which are - if any !

Money us tight and my bike is a total lifeline so just wondering if anyone knows which battery I can buy ?

Thank you !!

When you say your battery has "just gone", do you mean it has suddenly stoped working? This normally means a bad connection or blown fuse. Does it still take a charge?

No it's only charging to two bars. To be honest I'm very unhappy about this as this was a replacement from Halfords after my last battery completely stopped charging - its reconditioned and has lasted about 4 weeks - of course Halfords is now closed :(

Show us a couple pics of your battery and charge esp the charger to battery connector, a side on one and one of the bottom discharge pins. You should be able to buy any generic one with the same voltage, it can be of any capacity ah/wh. The important bit also what area do you live in as someone may be able to assist.

The charge pin is XLR 5 pin, the battery is a phylion cased one so needs to be the same case to fit your rear rack. You require a 36v nominal battery and it doesn't have to be 8.7ah/312wh capacity battery it can be any capacity you like, more ah/wh just means more range.

Your old one later on needs to go back to Halfrauds to be replaced or have the price refunded.
