help fix my bafang motor (bhv)

Hello readers, i have recently purchased a lovely second hand e-bike with a bafang m560 mid drive motor and has been riding perfect for first few months of riding and i messed with some controls awhile ago maybe 2 months (stupid me i know!) and not sure if that was why but my motor has started grinding on itself and getting stuck when i try to pedal off or am in high gear going up hills and i have been told could be electrical, which is a problem as i know next to nothing about fixing a bafang bike motor let alone if it is fixable.

But if anyone can fix-look at my motor or knows anyone or bike shops that look at them around brighton and hove or hundred miles or so away, as i can drive in my van.

as i have called up almost every bike shop i could find around my area and none of them work on bafang motors or batteries as they can run internal diagnostics on them.

so if anyone can help obviously i would pay for the help and would be appreciated thanks all who read!!.

I don't tnnk Darren works with the OEM CAN bus type mid drives , his main speciality is with the aftermarket BBS drives.

Yes, but he should be able to tell the difference between cassette pawls slipping and the motor losing sync.

thanks millions maté seriously, and i will call them up after work and see if he can do anything thank you so much for your help fella as i saw your name on my other post helping me as well so much appreciated for that and will call recommended bike shop when off work!!

What settings are accessible for you to change? Could you upload photos of what settings there are, then perhaps forumites could advise?

yes i will upload a picture as soon as im back home from work, what i can remember is i can change 1.my vibration on the buttons/ 2.AI Sensitivity/ 3.re-set trip mileage/ 4.how many modes i can have 3 modes-5-modes or 9 and thats all i can remember for now but will upload photo as soon as im in which will be around 18:00.
