Help changing carrera Vulcan ebike controller

I have a carrera Vulcan ebike that has faulty pas so I want to rewire a better controller to it but motor has 6 hall wires my new controller has 5 can anyone help

I have spare white wire but the black wire coming from hub is actually encased in the outer casing making me think is it just like a earth wire if anyone can help would appreciate it as parts for the actual carrera are hard to come by and not reliable would like to upgrade it

That's the black wire

Black wire is the Gnd , Red is 5v, Blue .Green, Yellow are the halls and White is the speed sensor. If the controller has no speed wire connection then one will have to for go it.
All hall colours mate colour to like colour with only the Blue, Green & Yellow which sometimes need swapping if the motor doesn't run correctly in conjunction with the three phase wires.
