Hi all,
Im Ed, based in Devon.
I took a gamble of a Furo Aventa a few years ago knowing they were going bust. Funnily enough, I now find myself here looking for some help with getting it working again! Im put a post on the technical forum for it, if anyone can help?
I mainly use it for carting my little ones around the countryside on sunny days.
Im fairly tehnically competant, but have little knowledge around the eletrical workings on a pedelec!

The electrics are very straight-forward - even if you don't know anything about ebikes, and they all work more or less the same. Ask any questions. Have a look on the back of the LCD to see if there are any markings. You don't need to tell us your life story, but ebikes don't normally go wrong for no reason, so it would help if you can tell us anything about the circumstances around when it started to play up or stop working.

Thanks Saneagle,
It developed a fault where it would intermitently power on. It would sometimes power on right away, other times it would take a prolonged press of the power button, and sometimes it wouldnt power on at all. Unfortunately this got gradually worse until it would no longer power on at all.

I initially thought it was the display, so ordered a replacement hoping it would be a quick fix. Sadly not, and the new display throws up an error code (communication with controller). But this isnt a direct replacement - the bike was fitted with a Nokee King Meter which I cant seem to find online.

After stripping it down ive found its fitted with a Lushui LSW860-63-21F X21060035136 controller which is inbuilt into the top of the frame above where the battery sits. Any idea what might be at fault here, and if there is somewhere I can source direct replacement parts, or failing that a new controller or display (or both), that will work and be compatible?

LCDs work independently from everything else, so if they don't switch on, they're either not getting voltage from the battery, there's something wrong with the switch or they got damaged by water or a wire pulled out.
