FYI, this is a pedelecs forum whose participants, for the most part, ride assisted bikes conforming to e.u. and British law.
You won't be aware that there have been three deaths , in the last few weeks, involving under aged boys riding high speed illegal motorbikes. So it's a bit of a hot topic at the moment !
The type of bikes you're selling would require a licence to drive and need to be registered, taxed and insured. Not so with pedelecs.

Unfortunately, your bikes are completely illegal in this country and they cannot be used on the street in any way without substantial modification, then inspection and registration. There is no company that would give insurance, so even if they were converted to meet the construction and use regulations, they still couldn't be ridden legally. Make sure you tell any prospective buyers that otherwise you might find yourselves or your agents in court.

Sellers/companies like these aren't bothered about legality, they just want to sell and make money. The same as those that sell the Suron's over here, it is down to the end user to be legal and ride them within the law but one issue is yobs who tend to ride these bikes think it is ok and don't care about the law.
Most sellers will know they won't be used legally and will be use don the road , they will knowingly know that insurance , registration etc ,etc can be complied with.

The bikes are souped up trials bikes that are quite heavy and dangerously fast for pedestrians area use , they aren't bikes.
They should be sold as electric motorcycles and the sellers made to point out the legalities clearly and even better still should ask to see a licence with a m/cycle category .
The motorcycle world needs to get involved as well to ensure these bikes are sold and registered before leaving any shop/showroom , they aren't just going to do harm to legal EAPC users but also motor cycles users as they eventually turn to electric.
