Hello community, my name is Angelina and I am new to this forum. I am going to buy an electric bike unless another crisis happens, plan to do it this month. Will really appreciate if you share your best tips about where to ride etc.

Where to ride depends a lot on your experience, what sort of riding you think you will enjoy, and of course where you live.

What sort of bike to buy depends on pretty much the same set of things.

Decide on the most extreme you plan to ride then go about buying a bike to suit the purpose.

As others have said, so many unanswered questions.

If you plan on just riding around forest tracks and lanes/roads I would have no worries suggesting a "Halfords" special. If you want a bit more then "Whoosh" (Forum member and quick to help) would be ideal. I have an old Halford's 2018 Carrera Vengeance. Cycled it all over including the odd "Black" run with no problems (But I'm just an old 64 year old fat guy who doesn't mind spending a bit of time checking nothing has fallen off when I get home). I would say though avoid the £599 chinese bikes found on Ebay etc. I have a friend who has nothing but trouble and no one who knows how to help without replacing major components.
