61 year old. I made my first ebike in 1979. Did not have the tech then like we have today. A bit of knowledge and imagination goes a long way.

How have you set up the controls: one or two throttles? PAS?

It looks good apart from the brakes. I'd change them to hydraulics, which don't cost much and are very quick to fit. They'll make a massive difference to your stopping.

I use a duel controller. I simply switch to front drive or rear drive or twin drive (Not recommended, it's dangerous). I have to admit the brakes are not up to much as the bike is quite heavy. I go through brake pads like nothing else. The bike is pretty stable though, due to the weight. Torque arms front and rear are vital. I have been riding this setup for 7 years. The PAS is setup for front and rear.

This is the first 2WD I built 8 years ago with twin Q100H motors. I made a double hall throttle to work two separate controllers. That was before I figured out how to split the signal. I always configure them with the PAS to work the rear motor and the throttle to work both. I've built four 2WDs with two motors and one with three.

Nice bike. I basically did the 2wd just for the hell of it. I live out in the sticks, very big hills. No problem with my bike. You should consider a dual controller.

I have just ordered a Shimano hydraulic brake kit.
