New to the site after learning about it from a local cyclist whom I have been extolling the virtues of the ebike to.

I have been cycling all sorts of bikes pretty much all my life but have had my Scott Esub Active for just over a year now and I'm in love. So much so that I've sold all my other bikes as I no longer use them.

I bought one for my wife's birthday in March and she has gone from being a nervous cyclist to a confident one who is now in love with cycling thanks to the ebike.

We are on them every weekend - from going for a coffee or pint to doing the weekly shop. I commute about 25 miles a day on mine and I can honestly say they have transformed our lives.

We live in Swansea, South Wales and are looking to do a little gentle cycle touring from here so if there's anyone out there who is local and has any tips or advice then say hello.

Hi and welcome from Ceredigion.
Plenty of cycle paths and old rail lines near you. There's one that goes fron Llanelli up into the hills, it's an old tramway, ends up near Crosshands somewhere ( never got that far). Pembrey, Buryport, Llanelli is a nice run, watchout for the wind though. Lots of nice flat riding around Pembrey country park.
